At the time of this post you can find my art in two separate locations downtown. I have an Art panel in the AFAS Art Tower at the corner of Trade Street and 6th avenue and a mural right off of Trade Street at the back entrance of Artivity.
It's a great feeling to have my art displayed along with other talented artists in such a vibrant and artsy part of our community.
These beautiful AFAS art towers display 12 artists work and are located in a couple different spots downtown. It's such a great way to see what local artists are creating.
I also had an opportunity to create a small mural right off of Trade Street at the back entrance of Artivity. It was a fun experience to be out of the studio creating art in the open air. I got to meet a lot of art enthusiats and curious souls. It was quite amazing!

This is the wall before. There is currently no grass here because some bushes were removed but sometime soon this area will be spruced up a bit more.
I am getting the first layers of spray paint down. I am mainly using Montana but to get more color variety I start mixing in other brands.
Safety First! Even when I am outside I wear a respirator mask. I use a lot of toxic products and the effects could build up over time and I'd rather play it safe.
Here is the base coat after day one. I'm loving the colors so far :)
More layers and details later my heart mural is complete and I love how it turned out.
